Annar Veröld is a Honduran-American poet, screenwriter, and filmmaker living in Austin, Texas.
She recently wrote and directed short films Ophelia, In Between and Moonwater, and served as producer and cinematographer for Felted (2018).
When not filmmaking, Annar works as managing editor for the Austin-based small press Host Publications. Recently released collections include Death to the Bullshit Artists of South Texas by Fernando A. Flores and the I Scream Social Anthology.
She proudly curates the monthly feminist reading series I Scream Social with her friend Schandra Madha.
